Waxing Hand & Arm Hair - Depilar os Braços e as Maõs

   So after many years of hiding under long sleeve sweaters in the winter and bleaching in the summer, I finally decided to wax my arms and hands. Yes this might be disgusting to many of you, but hey it's not my fault, at least I finally gathered up the courage to wax it off!

   I never waxed it before because, even though I do all my waxing at home, I thought it would be a big hassle, but boy was I wrong! It's super easy and almost painless. I used Veet's Gel Cold Wax, and used muslin strips.

   Depois de vários anos de esconder debaixo de camisolas de manga comprida no inverno e alourar no verão, finalmente decidi tirar os pêlos dos meus braços e mãos. Sim, isto pode ser repugnante para muitos de vocês, mas ei, não é culpa minha, pelo menos finalmente ganhei coragem para tirar os pêlos!
    Nunca tinha depilado antes porque, apesar de eu fazer toda a depilação em casa, eu pensei que seria um grande aborrecimento, mas estava errada! É super fácil e quase indolor. Eu usei Cera Fria Gel da Veet, e tiras de tnt.

A few simple tips :

• Be very careful not to apply the wax when it is too hot; 
• Make sure the area you are working on is product free, if there is any oily or creamy residue on your skin, the wax will not grab hold of the hairs properly;
• Always apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth and pull it in the oposite direction;
•  Don't be scared of the pain, you will regret broken hairs rather than feeling a little pain;
• Apply an after wax soothing product (check out Sally's).

Dicas simples:

• Tenha muito cuidado para não aplicar a cera se estiver muito quente; 
• Verifique se a área que você está a trabalhar está livre de produtos, se houver qualquer resíduo oleoso ou cremoso na sua pele, a cera não vai agarrar os pêlos corretamente;
• Aplicar sempre a cera no sentido do crescimento do pêlo e puxe na direção oposta;
•  Não tenha medo da dor, vai-se arrepender de pêlos partidos em vez de sentir um pouco de dor; 
• Aplique um produto calmante depois de depilar (veja na Sally's).
