   I have used each of these products for the whole 12 months of last year, one of the greatest plus point for me is the Aloe Vera ingredient, I hate the fact that most of the products on the market are full of unnecessary ingredients. These are pretty good products for their price, but most of them didn't really work for me because they aim for dry skin types. But over all good products.

   Usei cada um destes produtos durante todos os 12 meses do ano passado, um dos maiores aspectos positivos para mim é o ingrediente Aloe Vera, odeio o facto de a maior parte dos produtos no mercado conterem ingredientes desnecessários. Estes são produtos muito bom pelo seu preço, mas a maior parte não funcionou para mim, pois estão direccionados para os tipos de pele seca. Mas no geral são bons produtos.

FACIAL CLEANSER - CREME DE LIMPEZA & TONER

      I didn't like these products because since they are cleansers they didn't lather at all, too silky and they didn't make my skin feel very fresh and clean.

  Não gostei destes produtos, pois não fazem espuma absolutamente nenhuma, são demasiado sedosos e não fizeram com que a minha pele se sentisse fresca e limpa. 

SCRUB - EXFOLIANTE 

 

                                                This is my favourite product from the Babaria - Aloe Vera collection.It isn't too harsh nor too soft, it really leaves your skin feeling fresh and renewed. I still use this product, (unlike the rest of them), I use the same method as the Blue Corn 3-in-1 face mask, I like to change every now and then to get that new product feeling. Great product!

   Este é o meu produto preferido da colecção Babaria de Aloe Vera. Não é demasiado áspero nem demasiado suave, deixa a sua pele verdadeiramente fresca e renovada. Continuo a usar este produto, (ao contrário do resto da gama), uso o mesmo método que a máscara facial Blue Corn 3-em-1 da Body Shop, eu gosto de mudar de vez em quando para ter aquela sensação de um novo produto. Muito bom produto!

MOISTURIZER - HIDRATANTE

 

   I would love to say that this cream is amazing and BLAH BLAH BLAH, but I can't. I have oily skin, and for those of you who are also on that team, I strongly encourage you NOT to buy this product! It's great for DRY SKIN TYPES, very silky, very moisturizing, but way too oily and greasy for me. All in all a great product, just not for my skin type.

   Gostaria muito de dizer que este creme é incrível e BLÁ BLÁ BLÁ, mas não posso. Tenho pele oleosa, e para todos vocês que estão nessa equipa, eu encorajo vos, a NÃO comprar este produto! É óptimo para os tipos de pele seca, pois é bastante sedoso hidratante, mas demasiado oleoso e gordurento para mim. No geral é um excellente produto, mas não para o meu tipo de pele.

Facial Cleansing Systems - Sistemas de Limpeza Facial (CLARISONIC, OLAY PRO-X, SPA SONIC)

   Lets talk about cleansing all those impurities off of your face! How do you normally cleanse? I do it every day, right after waking up, and right before going to bed. As you all know, I use The Body Shop's Tea Tree Line cleanser and toner, but for the past week or so, I've been noticing that maybe it's just not enough, maybe it's time to step up my game!

   So what did I think of? An electric cleansing system! It's basically that extra push your skin is sometimes in need of, I plan to use it with my evening routine. I'll only be able to review one of these after I move out of the country, no need in wasting money twice! So keep your eyes open, some time soon in January!

 Vamos falar sobre a limpeza de todas aquelas impurezas do seu rosto! Qual é o seu metodo de limpeza? Eu faço todos os dias, logo depois de acordar, e antes de deitar. Como todos sabem, eu uso o creme de limpeza e o toner da Body Shop, mas na semana passada, notei que talvez não seja o suficiente, talvez esteja na altura de mudar o meu jogo!
 Sendo assim, de que me lembrei? Um sistema de limpeza elétrico! É simplesmente aquele empurrãozinho extra que a sua pele por vezes necessita, pretendo usá-lo na minha rotina ao deitar. Mas só me será possível poder rever um destes produtos depois que eu sair do país, pois não há necessidade de gastar dinheiro duas vezes! Portanto, manter os olhos abertos, é por volta de janeiro!

CLARISONIC

   This is like the Ferrari of cleansing systems, I'm still not sure if I'm willing to spend that pretty penny. I'll probably buy a cheaper version and then upgrade after a year or so (if the results are to my liking). One of the things I love about this, is the pretty colors and prints you can choose from, not to mention change to a sensitive face brush!

   From what I understand, there are 6 types of Clarisonic systems available:

1. The Classic - Just like the name says, a classic, one of Clarisonic's firsts. ($159)
2. The Mia - Which is the smallest, great for travelling, but only has one speed. ($119)
3. The Mia 2 - Which of course includes all of The Mia's features, but with one additional speed.($149)
4. The Aria - Three speed buttons, a drying stand (for after use), and a possible charging USB connection. ($199)
5. The Acne - Perfect for those with acne prone skin. ($169)
6. The Plus - Basically it is a fusion of all the features, but with the additional plus, hence the name, of also being a body cleansing system. ($225)

Eu provavelmente vou comprar uma versão mais barata e depois investir após um ano ou mais (se os resultados forem do meu agrado). Uma das coisas que adoro sobre este produto, são as cores bonitas e estampas que pode escolher, assim como as opcionais escovas de rosto!
    Pelo que entendi, existem 6 tipos de sistemas Clarisonic disponíveis:

1. O Clássico - Assim como o nome diz, um clássico, um dos primeiros do Clarisonic. ($ 159) 
2. A Mia - Que é a mais pequena, excelente para viagens, mas só tem uma velocidade. ($ 119)

   The Olay Pro-X is Clarisonic's cousin, the kind that don't get along very well because they have so much in common. Two speeds, waterproof, compact, great brand & great price! For as little as $30, this baby is yours, even if you end up not liking it, at least you know it didn't have a Clarisonic price tag on it! It's affordable, simple to use and great for traveling. It runs on batteries, awesome right? Great for those in the shower exfoliations!

   O Olay Pro-X é uma espécie de primo da Clarisonic, daqueles que não se dão muito bem porque têm muito em comum. Duas velocidades, à prova de água, marca de confiança, compacto e um agradável preço!    I haven't really looked into this product all that much, but to me it seems like a fusion of Clarisonic Plus, due to it being a face and body cleanser, and Olay Pro-X, due to it's size and look. For the price, and the same reasons meantioned for the Olay Pro-X, but with the Plus of also being a body cleanser!

At Home Waxing - Epilação em Casa

   Whether it's because of crisis, shame, or whatever the reason, waxing at home is often the solution for many women. I personally think that getting it done in a salon is much better, in terms of time and mess, but unfortunately not price wise. I am going to show you the waxing products I have used and been using, where I use them and how.

Pessoalmente acho que fazê-lo na estetisísta é muito melhor, em termos de tempo e de sujidade, mas infelizmente não se pode dizer os mesmo sobre o preço. Vou vos mostrar a os produtos depilação que tenho usado e ainda uso, assim como onde e como apilcar.

 

   First the cold wax, I use this on my legs, top and bottom (including outer bikini line). If you are someone who waxes your arms, this is also a good option. I advise you to buy extra strips when you purchase the wax.

   Vou começar pela a cera fria, utilizo-a nas pernas completas, incluíndo a linha do biquíni. Se és do tipo de pessoa de arrancar os pêlos dos teus braços, esta é também uma boa opção. Eu aconselho a comprar umas tiras  extras quando você compra a cera.

  When it comes to more sensitive areas and where your hair is thickest, I recomend using Veet's hard wax, no stripes required. Normally you would apply the wax in direction of the hair growth and pull it in the oposite direction right? With this product, you apply in the opposite direction of hair growth and pull it in the same direction as you apply it, if that even makes sense. I use this on areas like my under arms, and for brazilian waxes.

   Quando se trata de áreas mais sensíveis e onde o seu pêlo é mais grosso, eu recomendo usar cera tépida da Veet, não são necessárias tiras. Normalmente é aplicado a cera no sentido do crescimento do cabelo e puxada na direcção oposta certo? Com este produto, aplica na direcção oposta do crescimento dos pêlos e puxe-o na mesma direcção, se é que isso faz sentido. Eu uso em áreas como as axilas , e para epilações brasileiras.

   This product should be in the cold wax category, but sadly it was a waste of my money. My main problem with this was the wax not sliding the way it should, I found myself pressing against my skin to see if it would come out, but nothing. I believe you're suppose to heat it for about 30 min, but even after I left it on longer than that it still didn't work! Very disappointing product it costs 18 € but I got it on a summer sale for 13 €.

 

  Este produto devia estar na categoria da cera fria, mas infelizmente foi uma perda de dinheiro. O meu principal problema com este foi que a cera não deslizava da maneira que deveria, estava constantemente a pressionar contra a minha pele para verificar se saía, mas nada. Penso que se deve deixar aquecer durante cerca de 30 minutos, mas mesmo depois de deixar durante mais tempo continuou a não querer funcionar! Um produto muito decepcionante que me custou 18 €mas consegui uma promoção de verão por 13 €.

A Sneek Peek of My Hair - Uma Espreitadela ao Meu Cabelo

   As you all know, I've tried many different liquid shampoo brands in the past, but I keep going back to the one I used since I was a child, Garnier - Fructis Curl & Shine. No matter what any review says or how appealing the product looks, I vow to stop looking for another liquid shampoo. Why should I keep looking for perfection in a bottle when I already have, Fructis is by far one of the best shampoo's for curly hair for me, and I love it's affordable price too! Of course I'll switch to my solid shampoo every now and then but in terms of liquid, I'm set for life. I look forward to buying the Garnier - Fructis Fall Fight also, hope it works though.
   So here is a picture of my hair, I took it this morning, I'm amazed how it grew so long over the years! Around the age of 15, I cut my hair super short like jaw length, I didn't dislike it, it just gave me a very "little girl" look. So it's taken me about 5 years to grow my hair out. I hardly ever blow dry it, I try to air dry as much as possible, no mousee, no gel, no hairspray. I only straighten my hair or tease it when I poufe it, which is like once a month or so. I apply a hair mask twice a week at the most and wash it every other day. As for hair cuts, I cut it every three months, which is about 4 times a year, I've also never dyed my hair and I don't intend to unless it is needed.

 Como todos vocês já devem saber, já experiementei diferentes marcas de châmpom, mas mesmo assim continuo aquele que uso desde criança, Garnier - Fructis Hidra Caracois. Não me interessa o que qualquer comentário ou crítica diz ou até a atracção possível do produto, comprometi-me a parar de olhar para outros châmpom's líquidos. Porque continuar a procurar a perfeição  numa garrafa, quando eu já a encontrei, Fructis é de longe um dos melhores châmpom's para cabelos encaracolados, e adoro o seu preço acessível e claro que vou alternando com o meu châmpom sólido. Estou ansiosa para comprar o "Garnier - Fructis Fall Fight", espero que funcione.
   Aqui têm uma foto do meu cabelo, foi tirada esta manhã, estou espantada como cresceu tanto ao longo dos anos! Com cerca de 15 anos, cortei o meu cabelo super curto, mais ou menos pelo queixo, não desgostava, dava me era aquele look de menina. Por isso, levei cerca de 5 anos para crescer o meu cabelo até este comprimento. Quase nunca utilizo o secador, tento secar ao natural o mais possível, nada de mouse, nem gel, nem laca. Eu só estico o meu cabelo quando faço um poufe, o que é mais ou menos uma vez por mês ou assim. Aplico uma máscara duas vezes por semana no máximo, e lavo de dois em dois dias. Quanto às idas à cabeleireira, corto a cada três meses, o que acaba por ser cerca de 4 vezes por ano, nunca pintei o meu cabelo e não tenciono fazê-lo a menos que seja necessário.

Garnier Pure Active Exfoliator - Exfoliante Garnier Pure Active *UPDATED*

   I have yet to discover the exfoliator that works best for me, but until then the Garnier - Pure Active will do the job. I prefer this product to the Garnier - Pure Active Oil Control, I find the brush much better and more functional when it comes to exfoliating. I use this in the shower for the best results, the vapor helps open your pores, which makes your skin look fresh and pure! Remember that with this product there is no need for over scrubbing as well as pressure.

   Ainda estou para descobrir o esfoliante que funciona melhor para mim, mas até então o Garnier - Pure Active tem sido o melhor. Prefiro este produto ao Garnier - Oil Control Pure Active, acho que a escova é muito melhor e mais funcional quando se trata de esfoliar. Uso no chuveiro para obter os melhores resultados, o vapor ajuda a abrir os poros o que faz com que a sua pele fique fresca e pura! Lembre-se de que a exfoliação em demasia pode danificar a sua pele, assim como a pressão.

   Up until last night, I thought I was using this product the right way and benefiting from it's qualities, but I was wrong! I would normally scrub my my whole body and use the Garnier exfoliator after, which would stay on for about half a minute, but yesterday I used it before I combed my hair in the shower, and it sat on my face for about 5 minutes.When I finally got the chance to look at my skin in the mirror I literally felt like I had the most flawless skin ever! I have the worse blackheads ever, and I mean it, I only wish I had taken a before and after. This product is definitely a must-have for me.

Até ontem à noite, achava que estava a usar este produto da forma mais correta e a beneficiar das suas qualidades, mas estava errada! Normalmente fazia uma exfoliação no corpo e só depois usava o Garnier Exfo Pro , que acabava por por ficar na cara por cerca de meio minuto, mas ontem usei o antes de pentear o meu cabelo no chuveiro, e o produto ficou na minha cara durante cerca de 5 minutos. Quando finalmente tive a oportunidade de ver a minha pele ao espelho, senti que tinha a pele mais perfeita de sempre! Tenho os pontos negros mais feios à face da terra, e sem mentiras , só queria ter tirado uma foto do antes e depois. Este produto é definitivamente indispensável para mim.

Godmother Soap (LUSH)

 

   Personally, one of the greatest positive aspects of Lush is giving you samples of their products with every purchase you make. I mean come on, what is worse than spending money on something that seems appealing in stores, but when you get home it goes straight under the cabinet, lost with all your other regretful buys. Due to these free sample, I had the oportunity to try The Godmother Soap, which I find great for Christmas time, it smells just like candy canes and all the great sugar foods during the season! I like it but don't love it enough to spend the money, but maybe you will. Give it a try!

   Acho que um dos maiores aspectos positivos da Lush é o facto de darem amostras de seus produtos por cada compra que faz. Sejamos sinceras, o que é pior do que gastar dinheiro num produto que parece atraente nas lojas, mas quando chega a casa vai direitinho para a categoria das suas compras lamentáveis​​. Devido a esta amostra grátis, tive a oportunidade de experimentar o sabonete "Godmother", que eu acho óptimo para a época de Natal, tem um cheiro muito doce e de todas as sobremesa desta temporada! Skipping Christmas - John Grisham

   Around Christmas time I like to read this book called "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham, I don't know what keeps making me go back to it but the truth is that I've unintentionally created a tradition and only today did I realize such a thing. Every year for the past 10 years I re-read it, it's and amazingly ironic and very funny view at the way our Christmas traditions have turned into such a insane and crazy frenzy through-out the years.

  Na época do Natal gosto de ler o livro "Skipping Christmas", de John Grisham, não sei o que me leva a voltar a lê-lo, mas a verdade é que eu involuntariamente acabei por criar uma tradição e só hoje é que percebi isso, e já lá vão cerca de 10 anos. É uma perpectiva incrivelmente irônica e muito engraçada da forma como as nossas tradições de Natal se têm transformado numa louca procura de necessidades desnecessárias.

Blue Corn 3-in-1 mask - Máscara 3 em 1 (THE BODY SHOP)

   A while back I asked for a sample of the Blue Corn 3-in-1 Deep Cleansing Mask at The Body Shop. It lasted me a whole month, some of you may think that is impossible, but the thing is that I mix it with Avon's Solutions Clay Mask, which helps it last longer.

    Exfoliating wise, it's not harsh at all, which is great because even though my skin is oily, it doesn't react very well with harsh scrubs. It's an excellent choice for those who have no time to properly care for their skin daily, for skin types from normal to oily.

    Há uns tempos atrás pedi uma amostra da máscara Blue Corn 3-in-1 da Body Shop. Que me durou cerca de um mês inteiro, alguns de vocês podem estar pensar como é impossível, mas eu misturo com a máscara de argila Solutions da Avon, assim faz com que dure mais tempo.
     No que concerne a exfoliação, é muito delicado, o que é óptimo, pois apesar de a minha pele ser oleosa, não reage muito bem com exfoliações duras. É uma excelente opção para aqueles que não têm tempo para cuidar adequadamente de sua pele diariamente, assim como todos os tipos de pele de normal a oleosa.

Hair Mask,Shampoo & Face Cream Review - Crítica à Máscara de Cabelo, Châmpo & Creme de Cara (CORINE DE FARME)

   I decided to use these 3 products for at least a month, so that I would give you guys a decent enough review.

   I'll start off by talking about the hair mask, which is amazing, it's wonderful in every aspect. It gives your hair great hydration, and it smells yummy! I like to leave it in my hair when I'm around the house so it really sinks in. I bought it on a Buy 1 get 1 Free deal, for 8,99€ each.
   As for the shampoo, I can't say as many great things, it smells just as amazing as the hair mask, but doesn't hydrate and leaves that dry tangled hair feeling. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this item, even though I got it with the same deal as the mask, but for 4,99€ each.
   I've had this 2 in 1 face & eye cream for quite some time under my cabinet, I never really gave it a chance, but I ran out of my daily moisturizer, so I started using it as a back up and I fell in love with it! It's not greasy at all nor do you need a big amount, and it also smells amazing. Girls if you're looking for a wrinkle cream for young skin between the ages of 13 through 17 this is the one! Sadly I can't continue using it, I'm no longer "age appropriate", young or not, it's an amazing product and I'm happy I gave it a chance, better late than never!

 

   Decidi usar estes 3 produtos durante pelo menos um mês, para que eu pudesse dar uma crítica decente.
    Vou começar por falar na  máscara de cabelo, que é incrível e maravilhoso em todos os aspectos. Hidrata o cabelo em profundidade, e tem um cheiro muito agradável! Tenho por hábito deixá-lo no meu cabelo quando eu estou por casa para uma melhor absorsão, comprei-o numa promoção de Compre 1 Leve 1, por 8,99 € cada.
    Quanto ao châmpom, não posso dizer tantas coisas boas, cheira tão bem como a máscara de cabelo, não hidrata e ainda deixa aquela sensação de cabelo seco e emaranhado. Definitivamente, não irei comprar este produto de novo, foi numa mesma promoção que a máscara, mas por 4,99 € cada.
    Eu tenho este creme 2 em 1 rosto e olhos já há algum tempo no meu armário, e nunca lhe dei uma oportunidade, mas entretanto acabei o meu hidratante diário, e foi assim que caí de amores por ele! Não é nada gordurento nem necessita de uma grande quantidade, e tem um cheirinho agradável. Meninas, se procura um creme anti-rugas para uma pele jovem entre as idades de 13 a 17 este é o certo! Infelizmente não posso continuar a usá-lo, já não me encontro na "idade apropriada", jovem ou não, é um produto surpreendente e eu estou muito feliz por lhe ter dado uma oportunidade, mais vale tarde do que nunca!

   I tried this today out of pure boredom, it's not a difficult design but since I'm not exactly someone who has the time and pacience to do so.
   I used the Nailene French Manicure color polish as a base color, you can use the glitter polish from the same kit, as for the white line also, but I prefered to use the Nailene French Tip 2 Go - Skinny White.
   I hope you enjoyed this nail art share, if you're wondering what I am holding, it's the Pink Sugar perfume. I bought it on my vacation to Toronto, at Shopper's Drugmart I believe.

   Hoje decidi exprimentar um design nas unhas, não é um desenho difícil, mas não sou propriamente alguém com tempo e paciência para o fazer.
    Para a base da unha usei o verniz do kit de manicure francesa da marca Nailene, pode usar o verniz dos brilhantes que vem nesse mesmo kit, assim como o verniz branco para o risco, mas eu preferi usar o Nailene French Tip 2 Go - White Skinny, pois é o melhor para gente que treme das mãos como eu!
    Espero que tenha gostado deste design para as suas unhas, apesar de ser simples, tenho na mão o perfume Pink Sugar, que comprei nas minhas férias em Toronto, na loja Shopper's Drugmart.

Trichomania Shampoo Review - Crítica ao Châmpo Trichomania (LUSH)

   Ever since I stepped foot in the Lush store in Portugal, I have had the desire to go back in and discover yet another one of their products, which I can now say is the Trichomania solid shampoo. I'm very picky when it comes to choosing shampoo, and actually saying good things about it! 

   First things first, I love the fact that it's eco-friendly, no plastic nor any other packaging. Second thing I love about this shampoo is it's silky feel in your hair, it lathers up amazingly, and it doesn't leave you hair all tangled up!
   Scent wise, I don't think it's anything special, to me, it doesn't even really smell like coconut, but I guess I can live with that.

   Desde que entrei na loja Lush em Portugal, tive o desejo de voltar a entrar e descobrir mais um dos seus produtos, e hoje venho vos dizer que encontrei-o, é o châmpom sólido Trichomania. Sou muito exigente quando se trata de escolher châmpom, e são poucas vezes que posso dizer coisas boas sobre eles!
    Primeiro que tudo, adoro o facto de ser um produto ecológico, sem plástico ou qualquer outro tipo de embalagem. A segunda coisa que eu adoro é a sensação sedosa que deixa no cabelo, ensaboa-se surpreendentemente bem, e não deixa o cabelo todo enrolado!
   Quanto ao cheiro, eu não acho que seja nada de especial, para mim, não cheira nada a côco, mas eu  posso viver com isso.

Nail Polish Haul - Compa de Verniz (KIKO THE MAKE-UP)

   So I was in Lisbon the other day and I happened to go into the Armazéns do Chiado,lets just think of it as a mini mall. They have this amazing beauty product store called KIKO - Make Up Milano, that sells amazing quality products at great prices!
   I bought  these 3 polishes on sale for 1,50€ each, their original prices were 3,20€ each I believe, now that's what I call saving!

   Estive em Lisboa no outro dia, e entrei nos Armazéns do Chiado. Têm uma loja de produtos de beleza chamada KIKO - Make Up Milano, que vende produtos de excelente qualidade a preços incrivelmente baixos!
    Comprei estes três vernizes por 1,50 € cada, mas o preço original era de 3,20 € cada. Isso sim é poupar!

   I also decided to try a new brand of foundation, KIKO's of course. The store clerk was super helpful when it came to finding the right tone for my skin. I'm loving it already, it's not greasy at all! Great buy for 12,50 €.

 

   Também decidi experimentar uma nova marca de base da KIKO. A empregada da loja foi super útil quando se tratou de encontrar o tom certo para a minha pele. Estou a adorar , não é nada gordurento! Óptima compra por 12,50 €.
